As an expat from the States, it can be difficult having loved and lost your oven... but there's a plethora of recipes to meet your tastebuds' needs using stovetop, crockpot, and even microwaving methods! Homefries

1 medium potato per person
oil for frying
salt & pepper

1. Wash potatoes and dice into small cubes.(about the size of a playing dice)
2. Heat pan to medium heat and add about a centimeter of oil.
3. Pat dry potatoes with paper towel and then season with salt and pepper.
4. Fry potatoes until golden brown on all sides.
5. Remove to a papertowel covered plate and serve hot!

(these are really good to season with a seasoning salt like Lowry's or a cajun blend!)
